Tiffany's Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party!

Saturday, are day was filled with fun and celebration. We had Tiffany's Bridal Shower and the Bachelor/ Bachelorette party. The day started pretty early with breakfast then prepartion for the shower. Heath and the guys went on a Golf outing and it seems like what I have heard they had a pretty great time. The shower was filled with family and friends and everything went pretty smoothly. All in all I think everyone had a good time.

Last Thursday was the first time that all three kids took a bath together!

The Sweetest Thing

Yesterday, we had Tiffany's Bridal Shower then following that we had the Bachelor/Bachelorette Party. Signey went with me to the shower and Orion and Addy spent the day at NaNa and PaPa's. We then had a babysitter for all three kids that night so we did not see O and Addy all day and by the time we got home they were peacefully sleeping. The morning rolled around and Mommy heard the sweetest words she could ever hear, "Mommy you came back! Thank You! I missed you so much"! Poor Orion he must of thought we just left him and we were never going to return! It's so sweet to know that I am truly missed when I am gone.

Finally sleeping in her crib!

As of today Signey will start sleeping in her own crib! She has been sleeping next to us in a hamock but has grown to the point that she needs the room of her own bed. I think this may also help her sleep better at night and maybe she will continually sleep through the night. She has been sleeping through the night on and off and it's really time for her to start soothing her self back to sleep. I hope the transition is smooth for her and also for us. She is asleep in the crib right now and so far so good. Wish us luck!

Adalynn is 18 months old.

Adalynn also had her 18 month check-up on Thursday. It's hard to believe that she is 18 months. She is also doing well. We had a couple of concerns with her like she loves to bounce her head off of everything, even while she is eating. This is not gentle bouncing this slamming her head off of every possible surface. It is very unpleasant to watch and it looks extremely painful. She also loves to sleep sitting up she never really lays down to sleep it is very odd. The doctor said that he thinks it's just something that she likes to do. Other than that she is perfect. She is loving and says Please and Thank You to everything. She loves to play with her dolls as if she was a mommy. She also enjoys helping mommy with tasks and pretend feeding Signey. Adalynn has really come into her own in last couple of months, it is exciting to watch her grow and mature.

Addy's stats for her check-up are

Weight-  25 pounds and 14 1/2 ounces
Height- 31.25 inches

Head circumference- 18.31 inches

  

Signey

Thursday, Signey had her 6 month check-up, she is doing great. The doctor said she still looks perfect and is reaching all her 6 month milestones. She also received three shots which were the worst part of the visit. Here are some of things that she has been doing.

She rolls over
She sits by herself for a short amount of time
She eats cereal and all 2nd foods
She smiles
She notices when someone has left the room
She knows when Mommy is gone
She knows how to play with all of her toys
She is now eating 6-8 ounces of formula at a time
And she has TWO bottom teeth

Signey Stats for her 6 month check-up

Weight- 17 pounds and 4 ounces
Height- 25.5 inches (which is amazing since she was barely 17 inches when she was born)
Head Circumference- 17.13

Two little Plums..

Monday I had my doctors apt and ultrasound. Everything went well and they both seem to be growing. As I lay on the table It hit me that we are really going to have twins. I kind of think I was in denial or something but Monday seeing them made it very real for me. I am not so much scared of having twins but just the complications that can come along with carrying them. As for the complications the doctor reassured me that he really does not forsee any major problems and that I would most likely go to "term"  for twins due to the fact that I have never really gone into labor on my own. This makes me feel a little more comfortable but no one knows what the future holds so we will take it day by day. They had already scheduled my 20 week ultrasound which will be on September 2nd but now the fight is on. This time I really do not want to find out whether they are boys or girls or both for that matter, but Heath says we must find out. I don't know this time I feel like they were a SURPRISE so there sex should be too. I guess we will have to see who wins. Back to the babies, both babies had great strong heart beats and Baby A for now is the lower baby and Baby B is high and to the left. Momma is growing each and every day and feeling fine for know.

   As you move into the second trimester, baby shifts into the growth and maturation stage. After weeks in the critical development stage, almost all of baby's systems are fully formed.

The Big 25!

I can not believe that I am twenty five years old! I had a wonderful birthday as I spent all day with the kids and Heath. My day started with a BIG slap to the face from Orion and I nice scream which included Get Up!!!! I told Orion that it was mommy's birthday and all I wanted was to sleep a little longer as I was saying this I was thinking to myself Kira who are you kidding you have three children you are no longer allowed to sleep when you want to sleep or to sleep in! Orion quickly reminded me of this and he was not giving up on me getting up. Heath and I got the kids ready and headed to breakfast which was amazing and a big plus we only had a couple of melt downs all from Orion. We then headed to drop off presents and to do a little shopping in Rice Lake. We ended up taking the long way home in hopes that we could kill sometime before we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's, we wanted to make sure that Grandma got to see the kids too. We visited for a while then headed home with some very tired babies.. We all had a wonderful day and all three kids were sleeping by seven. Heath and I actually got to sit down and watch a whole movie with out interruptions.  I am pretty sure this has not happened in almost three years! I am truly blessed and I could not ask for more.

Signey is SITTING!

As of yesterday Signey has decided that it is time to start sitting on her own! She absolutely loves it and gets anger when she is not sitting up! What a Big girl it's hard to believe that she is 6 months old, where has those 6 months gone.
