Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we have so much to be Thankful for! I am so happy that I was released from the hospital to home bed rest just in time for the holidays. Heath and I have been soaking up as much time with the kids as we can, since we didn't have them for 5 days or see them. I am also thankful for being blessed with three amazing healthy, beautiful kids. All so that I have been able to stay pregnant with the twins for another week! I hope that everyone feels blessed and counts there blessings this year.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Hospital Stay Continued

Well, as of now I am on Hospital bed rest with no privileges. Hopefully tomorrow I will be allowed to take small wheel chair rides around the floor and finally take a tour of the NICU where the babies could end up. The way that it sounds I will be here for the long haul. The hopes are to at least get me and the twins to 32 weeks and then try and push are luck and make it to 34 weeks. So that is at least a month or so in Marshfield away from my babies which I miss so badly. The kids are doing good so far and I am very proud of them. Hopefully my mom will be able to bring them down sometime this week so I can visit with them for a while. My days are pretty boring today I learned how to crotchet, I will be making baby blankets I think since they are the easiest plus it gives me something to do. I was also allowed to have my IV removed today so I am getting a little closer to total freedom! Plus a small shower which helped my mood. It's funny how much you take for granted.
So as of now I am laying low and trying to incubate these babies for at least a couple of more weeks. More to come when I meet with the doctors in the morning!

Unexpected hospital stay

Wednesday, morning I woke and told heath that I had not been feeling really well and that I thought I was getting sick. Heath left for work and I started to get breakfast ready for the kids. Then I started to feel these really weird pains so I called the doctors office and they said that it would be best for me to be seen in the OB department at the hospital. I then called Heath and made arrangements for the kids. Heath and I left for the hospital and 45 min later we were there. I got registered and settled into a room just thinking I would have some monitoring done and then be on my merry way. I was monitored for a while and then my doctor came to check on me and see how things were going. I was then given an exam and then was told that I was dilating and changing my cervix and my Doctor thought that it would be in mine and the twins best interest for us to be transferred out to Marshfield. BIG SURPRISE to me and Heath I am pretty sure that I am still in shock and I probably will be until this is all over.  I was transported by ambulance down to Marshfield and was given Magnesium Sulfate to stop my contractions and Beta for the babies lungs.. A two hour ambulance ride later and we arrived at the hospital not knowing everything that was going on or what was about to go on. I got here and Heath was given a tour of the NICU and met some of the nurses and got a tour. I was then given more Mag in hopes to stop the contractions.  More to come after I rest a while!

Signey

I am behind on these so here we go! Signey just turned 10 months old and man is it going FAST! She is into everything and I dont think it will be long before she is walking all on her own. She creeps from one thing to another and stands for a while without holding on to anything. She just about eats anything these days and is really her own little person.

Here is a review of her Sticky Bellies from the last couple of months!

Happy 3rd Birthday

Orion turned three years old on Thursday and it makes me sad. I can not believe that he is already three and so mature. We had a great day just staying at home and relaxing. Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Chris came over and brought cupcakes. Boy oh boy did he get a kick out of that and so did Addy girl. All and all I have to say it was a successful third birthday.

Happy Third Birthday Orion
We Love you
